Gracie Davis-Darois, Dean of Canine Behavior
Gracie Davis-Darois came to us from unknown roots. She was discovered in an animal shelter in 2002, at about age 8 months, and apparently her past was quite difficult, as we've never been able to get her to open up and tell us about it. There were a few rough patches in her early years, but she has risen above adversity to become perhaps the leading authority on matters of canine behavior at the university. Gracie has studied all the greats, and has practical, paws-on experience with almost every modern method of behavioral observation, behavior modification and training currently known. And let's face it, she's a dog, so who knows more about canine behavior that that?

Gracie enjoys her role overseeing the Behavior Department, and does considerable community outreach as an ambassador for training, rescue and her breed, the Golden Retriever.
In her spare time, Gracie enjoys developing recipes for wonderful dog food and treats, as well as writing poetry and light prose.
